A Bangladeshi Column
I have been checking my blog regularly lately to see who's been visiting my blog and if anyone's been posting comments. I don't know why I didn't think about blogging while I was here. Perhaps because it seems unethical at work. So, six weeks down about two weeks to go. It's been a very interesting and yes, enjoyable experience.
If anyone would like to give me some advice, I have been asked to give a short fun presentation. It's upto me if I would like to or not. I am not fond of speaking in front of people. I have only given two other presentations - neither of which went well. Do I go for it or not?

For Atiya who has a dead comments section
Hey love,
Sounds like you're having a good time with the internship and all. I think you should DEFINITELY do spring at Geoergetown. You should take first semester Arabic at Smith this fall, and take advantage of Gtown's 6 credit intensive Arabic when you get there. I know someone ;) who'll be happy to show you around and help you get acquainted with the MSA there! Write more, either email or comment on MY blog or post on yours. Do you get to see Juju, Sara, Esther? How'd it go with Safia's visit. Are you cooking? Is aunty with you? How's the frat boy at your internship. Dude, I should have just emailed you, but this will have to serve as a public email to you.
On this end. Dhaka's wet and hot. I wasn't feeling too good a couple of days back now I am still not as good as new. I caught a cold and along with it a fever. Came back to work today after 5 days! WOrk's been keeping me pretty busy. My hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm. I get home around 6, and just chill in front of the tv. This is so much nicer and different from my last summer working. I actually like what I do, and when I get home I don't have to cook or give any cat its injection or clean its litter bowl or feed it. I still get to see Fadia and Anika almost every other day. Anika spent the night at my place last Friday. I have been thinking a lot about and missing my Smithies. I hope atleast some of them will read this at some point.
Take care and til later,
Nashat

(:
A friend told me I should atleast post that I have reached Dhaka safely and that I am alive. I hope this post will suffice. My apologies to those who still bump into my blog once in a while, I promise regular updates in about a couple of months. In the meantime, I will be lucky if I can manage a few infrequent ones. Have an awesome summer everyone.

Details of my flight home this summer. Pray that it reaches home safely. And that I don't get massively dehydrated and bored on the flight. Those ofyou with blogs. Keep them updated, if the slooooww dial ups back home permit me to check them I definitely will. Au Revoire.

With friends you grow wings,
Alone
you are a single feather in disgrace.
With them you master the wind,
but alone,
you're blown in all directions.
